The Caudalie Grand Cru is a powerful, Demeter-certified oaked Blanc de Blancs that captures the soul of Champagne De Sousa’s finest terroirs. This exceptional cuvée is made from 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay sourced from vines over 50 years old. Part of the vineyard is ploughed by horses. It is vinified for extended periods in 100% oak barrels to maximize complexity and depth. The blend consists of 50% base wine from the current year and 50% perpetual reserve (Solera) started in 1995. It delivers fine, delicate notes from oak aging and ripe yellow fruit. The taste is powerful, ripe, and dry, with a long-lasting and pure finish.
