The Champagne Fox
We are two champagne lovers based in Amsterdam. In 2022, we launched The Champagne Fox to share our passion for artisan champagne — small-batch bottles crafted by independent growers.
Our online shop features unique champagnes you won’t find in supermarkets. Every bottle is personally tasted, selected, and imported by us. No big brands. No mass production. Just honest, hands-on craftsmanship in every pour.
We also host private tastings and events in and around Amsterdam, offering a fresh, modern take on champagne — one bottle, one story, one sip at a time.
Champagne or Cremant ?
Champagne is a sparkling wine made in France in the Champagne region. Crémant is a sparkling wine made in France, outside the Champagne region — but using the same traditional method as Champagne, known as the méthode traditionnelle.
While our focus is on Champagne, in 2025 we expanded our collection to include Crémant d’Alsace. Why? Because we simply love it just as much
Crémant producers share the same dedication to craftsmanship and the méthode traditionnelle — but with different grapes, climates, and terroir. The result? New layers of taste and flavors to discover.
Our Values
Our winemakers are deeply passionate about their craft, overseeing every step of the process. They often blend traditional expertise passed down through generations with innovative methods. The champagnes we’ve selected strike the perfect balance between terroir and creativity.
Our bottles start in vineyards that put the planet first. We choose to partner with winemakers who prioritize organic viticulture. While not all small wine estates can afford official organic certification, we make sure they follow low-intervention methods and avoid unnecessary chemicals.
We don’t believe champagne should be reserved for special occasions or come with an inflated price tag. Our mission is to make exceptional, small-batch champagne accessible — so more people can enjoy great bubbles, more often.
