Not every great sparkling wine comes from France, and this Cap Classique by Villiera is a happy reminder. Made in Stellenbosch by the same traditional method as Champagne, it shows just how serious South African Chardonnay can be.
Grown organically and aged four years with no added sugar, it is dry, precise and full of character. If sustainably made bubbles appeal to you, our notes on organic and biodynamic champagne are a good read.
Expect creamy, yeasty aromas, a hint of toasted bread and a crisp citrus finish. As a chardonnay-led sparkler, it sits nicely alongside the wines in our Blanc de Blancs collection.
