- Blanc de Blancs from Montgueux
- 100% Chardonnay, single parcel
- Brut Nature, pure and dry
- Aged 36 months
- 1.5L Magnum, made for sharing
Le Grand Carre by Champagne Helene Beaugrand comes from Montgueux, a sun-soaked chalk hill near Troyes that growers quietly call their secret Cote des Blancs. The soil here gives Chardonnay remarkable minerality.
Made from a single parcel with no added sugar, it balances ripe fruit with chalky freshness. If you love this grape, our Blanc de Blancs guide digs into what makes Montgueux so special.
In magnum format it is the bottle to bring out when there is something to celebrate. It sits proudly in our Blanc de Blancs collection.
Tasting notes
A nose of white peach, lemon zest and chalk leads to a vibrant, textured palate with green apple, flint and a saline finish that lingers. Powerful yet effortlessly pure, this is Chardonnay at its most precise.
When to open it
Beautiful as an aperitif, or alongside oysters, sashimi and fine seafood. As a magnum it makes a generous gift, and it holds its own among our champagnes between €40 and €100. To meet the growers behind bottles like this, see our notes on grower champagne.
