Discover this exceptional Blanc de Blancs from Montgueux, now in magnum format! Le Grand Carré Blanc de Blancs is a captivating Brut Nature crafted from the chalky slopes of Montgueux, one of Champagne’s most distinctive terroirs. This sun-soaked chalk hill near Troyes is renowned for producing outstanding Chardonnay. Its soft limestone and silex soils bring remarkable minerality and finesse to the wine. The result is a Blanc de Blancs that balances ripe fruit with chalky freshness, powerful yet effortlessly pure. Made from a single parcel, this 100% Chardonnay perfectly reflects the elegance and clarity of its origin.
After vinification in stainless steel and full malolactic fermentation, the wine rests a minimum of 36 months on lees, revealing finesse and depth without the distraction of dosage, a true Brut Nature expression.
Expect a nose of white peach, lemon zest, and chalk, leading to a palate that’s both vibrant and textured, with notes of green apple, flint, and a saline finish that lingers beautifully. Perfect as an aperitif or alongside oysters, sashimi, and fine seafood, this is Montgueux Chardonnay in its most precise, pure form.

Champagne Hélène Beaugrand - Independent Winemaker Rooted in History
Hélène Beaugrand’s grandfather played a pivotal role in securing Montgueux’s place in the Champagne AOC. He was one of the key advocates who fought for recognition of the Montgueux vineyards, ensuring that the region’s Chardonnay could legally be labeled as Champagne. Hélène credits him not only for passing down her family’s passion for wine but also for securing the very foundation that allows her to continue their legacy.
Hélène’s career spans the globe, from agricultural and oenology studies to training in South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, California, and Mexico. After working as a wine commercial agent in Paris, she joined her family estate in 2008 and now runs her own three-hectare vineyard. She focuses on crafting exceptional single-plot Champagnes, combining originality, generosity, and a unique precision that expresses the purity of Montgueux.
