This Pétillant Naturel is a fun, easygoing sparkling wine made for the first warm days of the year. Produced from Riesling and Gewürztraminer, it captures the bright, aromatic character of these varieties in a vibrant, unfiltered style. Fresh, fruity, and straightforward, it delivers an effortless drinking experience that fits perfectly with sunny afternoons and relaxed moments.

Pétillant Naturel, often shortened to “Pet-Nat”, is one of the oldest methods of making sparkling wine. Unlike Champagne, which undergoes a second fermentation in bottle after the base wine is finished, Pet-Nat is bottled while the first fermentation is still ongoing. The natural sugars continue fermenting in the bottle, creating gentle bubbles without the more technical steps of the traditional method. The result is a lively, slightly cloudy sparkling wine with a fresh, rustic character and vibrant fruit expression.

In the glass, expect bright aromas of citrus, lychee, and fresh orchard fruit, lifted by a lively mousse and a crisp, refreshing finish. Its uncomplicated, energetic style makes it a perfect aperitif and a natural companion for warm weather gatherings.

Domaine Sunnen-Hoffman – Independent Winemakers Since 1872

Domaine Sunnen-Hoffmann in Luxembourg’s Remerschen valley has been producing wines in harmony with nature for five generations. Covering 9.3 ha, its vineyards are cultivated organically since 2001 (the first ones in Luxembourg), with careful pruning, green harvesting, and rigorous grape selection.

Typical varietals include Riesling, Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, all grown without chemical fertilizers or herbicides. Since 2011, some biodynamic practices have also been adopted to enhance vine health and express the terroir.
